Dieser runde Anhänger ist von wikingerzeitlichen Amuletten des 10. und 11. Jahrhunderts sowie von der feinen Schmuckgestaltung des slawischen Raums inspiriert. Spiralförmige Ornamente, kleine Kugelstrukturen und gedrehte Linien verleihen ihm eine besonders detailreiche Oberfläche.
Bei historischen Schmuckstücken entstand Granulationsdekor, indem winzige Metallkügelchen und feine Drähte sorgfältig auf den Untergrund aufgebracht wurden. Diese Replik ist vollständig in einem Stück gegossen und greift die charakteristische Wirkung dieser aufwendigen Technik dekorativ auf.

Granulated Pendant
This round pendant is inspired by Viking Age amulets from the 10th and 11th centuries and by the refined jewellery traditions of the Slavic regions. Spiral ornaments, bead-like details and twisted lines create a richly textured surface.
On historical jewellery, granulation decoration was produced by carefully applying tiny metal spheres and fine wires to the surface. This replica is cast in one piece and decoratively recreates the distinctive visual effect of that elaborate technique.
